| Playoff Preview: Clarksville has a prolific no huddle offense, averaging 34.6 ppg and having scored at least 42 points in their last 3 games of the season... Led by Sr. QB, Devon Rodriguez, who throws the ball well and can tuck it and run, the Wildcats seem to score at will here lately... RB's Dallin Bridges and Lawrenz Guerra have run well all season to compliment the throwing game... In Clarksville's win over Rossview 2 weeks ago, the Wildcats "found the end zone three times in the fourth quarter, and Rodriguez found his share of open receivers throughout the game. He completed 16 of 22 passes for 270 yards and three touchdown passes, to offset a pair of first-half interceptions. He also ran for 91 yards and two touch-downs. Nine of Rodriguez's completions went to Lawrenz Guerra and Ian Busbee. The pair combined for 189 yards and three touchdown catches." 177 of those yards came in the first half, but he also threw 2 interceptions... The key for the Buc's is to get an interception or two and not turn the ball over... Rodriguez is prone to throwing interceptions when under pressure. He threw one last week while being sacked by Kenwood. The Buc's pass defense will have to become more aggressive and go after balls in the air. The team that wins this game will win the turnover battle... there is only one common opponent - Henry County - the Patriots beat Clarksville 56-8 at CHS, while the Bucs were beaten 37-17 in their season opener at home against the Patriots... The Bucs scored more than any other team on the HC schedule and also tied in holding them to their lowest point output as well... as always, the Bucs will need to have the ground game churning out yards and eating clock, and that's one thing the Wildcats have had trouble doing all year. "Being able to stop the run has been an issue for us, but I think we've made some huge strides in that area." Ken Busbee/CHS Head Coach Playoff Bound Wildcats get win over Kenwood...
